4. PURPOSE OF THE EVENT
• enabling participants to attempt Polish records in 24h / 12h / 6h non-stop cycling
• promoting long-distance cycling and bicycle tourism in Poland
• promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity
• testing physical endurance and mental resilience
• promoting the Municipality of Pniewy and the region
• selecting the fastest UltraTime-trial participants
5. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS, OBLIGATIONS AND EQUIPMENT
I. Participation conditions
A participant must meet all of the following conditions:
• be at least 18 years old
• complete and submit the online registration form
• pay the entry fee
• personally sign a health declaration or present a medical certificate confirming no contraindications to participate in long-distance events
• submit a declaration of participation at own risk
Additional personal accident/liability insurance is recommended.
Insurance may be purchased during registration. The insurance contract is concluded between the participant and the insurer. The organiser is not a party to the insurance contract and bears no responsibility for its scope or refunds. Insurance is voluntary.
II. Participant obligations
The participant is obliged to:
• comply with these Regulations and the technical bulletin
• observe safety rules and road traffic regulations
• ride with a fastened helmet
• ride exclusively on the route designated by the organiser
• not litter the route or the event base area
• immediately inform the organiser of withdrawal from the race
III. Mandatory equipment
The participant must have:
• a hard-shell helmet
• lighting for night and limited visibility: front (white) and rear (red)
• an identity document
• a mobile phone (number consistent with registration; any change must be reported)
• a visible race number mounted under the saddle with a timing chip (any modification may result in lack of classification)
6. ROUTE AND RACE FORMAT
I. Route
UltraTime-trial is held on:
• a main loop of approx. 60 km
• a finisher loop of approx. 12 km
Nutrition points are located near the start/finish area.
II. Competition rules
The participant rides the designated route and completes any number of laps during the race time (24h / 12h / 6h).
The result is determined by the total number of kilometres completed within the official time.
Only full laps (main loop and finisher loop) are counted.
If a participant stops riding for valid reasons, they must inform the organiser.
III. Finisher loop – opening times
The finisher loop is opened separately for each competition, 1 hour before its end:
• UTT 24h – from 13:00 (19.07.2026)
• UTT 12h – from 17:00 (19.07.2026)
• UTT 6h – from 15:00 (19.07.2026)
Entering the finisher loop is optional.
Before entering, the participant must inform the organiser’s staff or judge.
After entering the finisher loop, the participant continues according to its course and returns to the finish area.
IV. Leaving the route
A participant who leaves the designated route must inform the organiser of the place, time and reason.
The participant may continue riding from the point of leaving the route, provided this does not violate fair play or road traffic regulations.
V. Organiser support
The event will be held with full nutrition support (hot meals, drinks and fruit buffet available on each loop – details in the technical bulletin).
7. CLASSIFICATIONS
SOLO
The participant must ride alone, keeping a minimum distance of 100 m from other participants
(except the first 10 km after the start, stops in organiser zones and overtaking).
OPEN
Participants in the OPEN classification may ride in groups only with other OPEN participants, in groups of no more than 15 riders.
8. START GROUPS
Start groups will be determined by a draw on 16.07.2026.
Details will be provided in the technical bulletin.
9. ROAD TRAFFIC
UltraTime-trial is held in open traffic in accordance with road traffic law.
Participants must ride on the right side of the road and strictly observe regulations.
The organiser is not responsible for incidents resulting from violations of traffic regulations by participants, within the limits of applicable law.
10. TIME MEASUREMENT AND MONITORING
Participants will be monitored online using a GPS transmitter mounted on the bicycle.
Only full main and finisher laps are counted for classification.
Official results will be announced after the last participant finishes (approximately 1 hour after completion).
11. ENTRY FEES AND REGISTRATION
Registration must be completed online via the registration form available on the UltraTime-trial website.
Registration after 30 June 2026 does not guarantee receiving a commemorative medal.

Withdrawal and refunds
until 31 May 2026 – refund of 100% of the entry fee

after 30 June 2026 – entry fees are non-refundable

14. PENALTIES
• riding in a group larger than 15 riders – 1-hour time penalty
• insufficiently visible race number or lack thereof – 1-hour time penalty
• receiving outside assistance – disqualification
• towing or riding behind a vehicle without safe distance – disqualification
• littering the route – 1-hour time penalty
• leaving the designated route – penalty of minus 1 km for each 1 km ridden outside the route
• OPEN rider riding behind a SOLO rider closer than 50 m for over 5 minutes – 1-hour time penalty
• SOLO rider riding behind an OPEN rider closer than 50 m for over 5 minutes – 1-hour time penalty
• riding under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants – disqualification
Time penalties are converted into kilometres (1 hour = 20 km).
15. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE – EXCEPTION
The rule is self-supported riding without third-party assistance.
Technical assistance is permitted only in exceptional cases, when:
• a technical failure prevents further riding
• the failure cannot be repaired independently
• assistance is strictly technical (repair or transport of the bicycle to the base)
• assistance is reported and approved by the organiser or chief judge
Such assistance may not result in sporting advantage.
The organiser’s decision is final.
16. FINAL PROVISIONS
Participants are subject to general public road regulations.
Each participant must read and accept these Regulations and the technical bulletin.
The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
The organiser may withdraw a participant for medical reasons or rule violations.
Participants are responsible for the technical condition of their bicycles.
The organiser is not responsible for accidents during travel to and from the event, within the limits of applicable law.
The organiser reserves the right to amend the regulations and adjust the route for valid reasons.
17. PROTESTS
Protests must be submitted before the official end of the race to the organiser or chief judge.
Protests will be reviewed promptly.
The organiser’s decisions are final.
18. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
The organiser is the data controller of participants’ personal data.
Personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for the purposes of event organisation, registration, communication, time measurement, GPS monitoring, publication of results and handling complaints/protests.
Data may be processed by cooperating entities, including the registration system operator, GPS monitoring provider and timing company.
Results may include at least: name, year of birth, city/club and result.
Participants have the right to access, rectify and restrict processing of their data and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
Marketing consents (if collected separately) are voluntary and not a condition of participation.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the organiser.
